Stake NGL to enable Gold Fever’s Decentralized Economic Infrastructure 🏗️
What is the Stake for Infrastructure? 🤔
As you probably know, Gold Fever’s economy relies entirely on user-owned elements composing this economy. From items like weapons and gold tools , to planes and companions, to buildings that produce items and services required by the players.
Due to the fact that the building infrastructure of the game is extremely limited, these items are very expensive and selling them isn’t easy without a full game developed, played by thousands of people that actually generate funds.
In these conditions, we decided to shoot two rabbits with one bullet and allow the community to quickly become part of this economy and give more utility to the token.
By allowing you to stake NGL for these valuable assets, particularly commercial buildings, we effectively allow players into our economy.
This staking mechanism does not just offer a chance to manage significant in-game assets; it also heightens the importance and functionality of the NGL token within the game’s ecosystem.
In essence, staking for commercial buildings adds to the NGL token in-game utility, the economic engagement utility. This process not only makes the essential infrastructure more accessible to everyone, but also strengthens the role of NGL in the game’s economy, making it essential not only for significant economic interactions, but also for player growth within the game’s ecosystem.
How much NGL do I need to stake? 💲
1. The bid starts from 5K NGL stake amount / per building.
2. If someone bids 5K NGL, the next available bidding clot slot is 10K NGL, for each building. And so on.
3. The bid is open from Wednesday December 6 to December 15; 11:59PM.
4. The building goes to the highest staker at the end of the period.
5. You will be able to check the values available for staking in a public excell.
6. Your bid is taken into account only after you sent the NGL value in the custom wallet the team will communicate in Discord.
For example, if on December 6, someone stakes 5K NGL for an airfield the next available slot for staking value will be 10K NGL for this airflied.
Make sure you take into account the scarcity of these commercial NFTs. There are 43 commercial buildings to be staked in Hope Island.
How long do I need to stake? ⏳
For staking period is 3 months. After that period ends, you will be able to request the staken $NGL. After 3 months, we will retake the bid and allow everyone to enjoy the benefits.
Based on the success of these features, we will or not transform this process from a manual one into an automated one and then we will decrease the minimum period of staken NGL.
How much yield can I get? 📈
It’s a dynamic yield that depends on the amount of players, the type of building, the amount of work you will put in-game towards your building production of Items and Services, the understanding of the game’s economy, price history, and supply & demand over your building in a certain area, and various other factors.
You can use the calculator you find at the bottom of this landing page to estimate many of the factors above.
All the $NGL obtained during the staking period will be delivered to you, upon request, in your mainnet account. There will be a minimum amount of $NGL where you can request and no more than 1 request per month. The process is manual.
Do I receive the NFT during this period? ❓
No.
You will receive manager access to the NFT through the website.
The acces is similar to having access to a dashboard, where you can see your building, but you won’t be able to move it from there. You will be able to manage and upgrade it as you wish — add items, services, custody and rent fees.
Your in game wallet will be assigned by the Gold Fever team in the NFT managing account.
Once your wallet is added as Manager, you will see the items/services/upgrades and other features that building is offering. Statistics about income will be visible in My Wallet section of the website. Any revenue obtained by the building, will be sent to you wallet by the company upon request. The minimum amount can be requested should be $100 worth of $NGL.
Can I buy the NFT in order to own it? 🏡
The building can be purchased at any point if you can pay the amount in JULs, not just by you, but by anyone who wants to buy it and can afford it.
In case of such an event, you will receive the staken NGL and lose access to the building.
If we receive an offer to buy for the Commercial NFT that you received during staking, we will notify and give you the option to buy it within 3 days. In case we receive no answer or you deny the offer to buy, we will return the NGL in the account from where you sent.
Are the buildings finished in terms of items sold, services offered? 🛠️
No. Not every item or service from these buildings is functional. Also, you can’t increase production and using advanced shopkeepers won’t give much advantage.
